SPIRE: A New Interior Design Project
in Downtown Denver
Lanthia Hogg Designs is happy to announce our newest project at the Spire, in the heart of downtown Denver!
The Spire offers expansive views of the city skyline and the not-so-distant mountains. The floor to ceiling windows frame the perfect setting and spectacular views. You can even see the Big Blue Bear from the balcony peeking in the windows of the Convention Center!
Lanthia and team are completely redesigning the interior of a condo at Spire, with an industrial loft design in mind. Think brick, reclaimed wood, stainless steel countertops, vintage counter stools and industrial metals. The floor is premier-engineered Coretec Plus Luxury plank floor – water resistant and wood-like appearance, with great character and texture. It is truly amazing and comes with a lifetime warranty! The ceiling is concrete in gray with warm tones of color moving throughout the cement.
Lanthia has known and worked with the clients for many years in the Roaring Fork Valley. Bob Rankin represents District 57 in the Colorado House of Representatives and his wife, Joyce, works as his assistant. Their top priority in selecting the Spire Condominium was to be within walking distance to the Capitol. And, of course, close behind are fabulous restaurants, theater, museums and the arts.
Besides the clients wanting a “downtown loft” design, they are also adamant about layering lighting for everyday tasks and drama. For decor, Joyce is choosing black and white photos of the Colorado Capitol from its construction in the 1890’s. Back in the day, they used 24 karat gold to plate the dome! We will target these within the space with focus lighting to bring the drama.
Check back with us and follow along as we provide project updates as the space begins to take shape.
